Professor of Surgery

Dr. Michael Conte is a vascular surgeon with a special interest in molecular based therapies to treat peripheral artery disease (PAD). His translational research program includes basic laboratory investigations as well as prospective clinical trials to study the causes of failure of angioplasty and bypass surgery and develop new approaches to stratify patients at risk.
