Clinical Research Manager (415) 353-4371 Office Ms. Kim is the clinical research manager for the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. In this role, she is responsible for the operational management of all clinical research projects within the Division. She has experience on a number of different clinical trials, both industry- and NIH-sponsored projects, as well as both device and drug trials. Ms. Kim enjoys working with the dedicated faculty and staff at UCSF in providing new treatment options for patients and further advancing our knowledge of vascular conditions and diseases. She has a Master's in Public Health. |
![]() Johanna Garcia Clinical Research Coordinator 415-353-4379 Office A Bay Area native, Ms. Garcia received her undergraduate Public Health degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 2006. Since her time at Berkeley, she has worked in community health as well as in research. During her career, she worked as a research assistant for the Childhood Leukemia Study, Children's Hospital of Oakland, Oakland Highland Hospital, and Kaiser Permanente. Ms. Garcia is excited to be part of an extraordinary team of surgeons and nurses. She looks forward to working with research participants and learning more about research. She hopes to pursue a career in healthcare. In her spare time, she loves to travel, shop, and visit family and friends. She currently lives in the East Bay. |
![]() Leyla Herrera Clinical Research Coordinator 415-353-4367 Office Ms. Herrera is a graduate of San Francisco State University and has been working in research for over ten years. She has worked in various specialties including mental health, depression, patient safety, OB/GYN, endocrinology, and nephrology before starting as a clinical research coordinator in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. She has previously worked at the University of California, Berkeley. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is interested in pursuing a Master's degree in Public Health. |
